The team is made up of young dentists with a passion for mentoring and experience with admissions advising and writing.

Dr. Helen Yang– Graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2016. Loves mentoring brilliant young minds. Helped dozens of pre-dental students with interview prep and essay writing. Spoke at the HSDM Annual Pre-Dental Mini Conference for four years. Served as District 1 Trustee for the American Student Dental Association from 2014-2015. Served on the HSDM admissions committee from 2015-2016. Currently a resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago residency in endodontics.

Dr. Eric Chen– Graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2016. Served as Chair of UCLA’s national award-winning Pre-Dental Outreach Committee. Staffed the American Dental Education Association Pre-dental Student Virtual Fair. A member of the UCLA NIH R25 grant program with a focus on dental education and mentorship. Dr. Chen is a current resident in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at UCLA.

 

 

Dr. Lauren Kuhn- Graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2017 and has been a mentor for pre-dental students for many years. Dr. Kuhn is a current resident in Endodontics at the Medical University of South Carolina. An interesting fact about Lauren is that she was a top five finalist in the 2015 Miss America Pageant.

 

Dr. Lily Liu – Graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2016. In 2012 she graduated from the Ohio State University Biomedical Science program, where she was an interviewer and served on admissions committee. She has been writing since she could hold a pen and has edited essays for college, graduate, and postgraduate admissions. Currently working as a general dentist in Boston, MA.

Dr. Daryn Lu– A 2015 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, Daryn’s passion for his profession shows through his journey within organized dentistry. From an eager pre-dental member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) to a passionate local, district, and national volunteer leader — the depth of his experiences has shaped him as a dental professional and lifelong learner. He currently serves the boards of the Oklahoma County Dental Society, Oklahoma Dental Foundation, the Academy of General Dentistry Oklahoma chapter, and is a guest writer for the ADA New Dentist Now and igniteDDS blog.

Dr. Irina Dragan– Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM), in the Department of Periodontology. She received her Certificate in Periodontology and Master of Science degree from TUSDM. In recent years, Dr. Dragan has been practicing dentistry in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry, published clinical and educational research papers, contributed to textbook chapters. She has been honored for most of her work; most recently in 2015 by the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation and in 2016 by the American Dental Education Association.

Dr. Jason Watts– Graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2015. Vice President of the American Student Dental Association from 2014-15. General Dentist who owns a practice in Lithia, Fl called “Watts Dental”. Speaks all over the country to dental students and dentists about the business of dentistry, motivational speaking on vision building, negotiations, and economics of our profession. Personally have mentored dozens and spoken to hundreds.

Sangita Murali- Fourth year dental student at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Currently serving as president of American Association of Women Dentists Tufts chapter to fulfill mission of uniting women pre-dents, dental students, and dentists. Passionate about creating a supportive environment to empower pre-dental and current dental students through academic mentorship and oral health promotion in community outreach. Since 2014, has mentored over a dozen pre-dental students in the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences program at Tufts.

Dr. Lisa Lian– Graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2016. In dental school, served as National Secretary and Northeast Regional Representative for the American Dental Education Association. Passionate about improving dental education through innovative teaching styles. Currently a resident in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University College of Dentistry.
